Products

I don't have much for here right now. Would be handy to talk about the various product reports. Would even like to hear from others about product reports.

Some considerations for a better Product/Shopping UI could be to interpret product names into groupings. Two options should be available.

• Products with options, but sold under 1 product ID code. EG: 1010001 - Cloth Bag [red|blue|silver|green] [zipper|buttons] [2 strap|4 strap] when added to cart the product would be named Cloth Bag red zipper 4 strap
  • Problem with this currently is that when somone adds something to the shopping cart, the cart system tries to consolate those by UPC ... Which would loose the unique name if you wanted a red, and a blue bag.
• Products solder under many product ID but grouping by name, if () are used, we can collapse by name maybe?
  • 10100001 - T-shirt (Small)
  • 10100001 - T-shirt (medium)
